AutoPostPanel ("we", "our", "us") is a self-hosted AI-powered social media content automation platform. We help creators plan, generate, and publish content across multiple social media platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Account information — your name and email address when you register.
- Social media OAuth tokens — access tokens granted when you connect a social media account. These are used solely to publish content on your behalf.
- Content data — scripts, images, videos, and metadata you create or upload through the platform.
- Usage data — basic logs (IP address, timestamps) for security and debugging purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and maintain your account.
- To publish content to your connected social media accounts as instructed by you.
- To store and manage your media files and scheduling preferences.
- To improve the reliability and performance of the service.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. TikTok API Data Usage
This section specifically addresses data collected and processed via the TikTok API.
When you connect your TikTok account to AutoPostPanel, we access the TikTok API on your behalf to perform the following functions only:
- Authenticating your TikTok identity via the TikTok Login Kit (OAuth2).
- Publishing video content directly to your TikTok profile using the TikTok Content Posting API.
- Reading basic profile information (display name, avatar) to identify your connected account within our platform.
Data storage: Your TikTok OAuth access token and basic profile data are stored exclusively on our self-hosted infrastructure. This data is never transmitted to, sold to, or shared with any third-party service, database, or organisation.
Data use limitation: TikTok API data is used strictly to execute the publishing functions you direct. We do not use TikTok user data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond the immediate publishing task you initiate.
Data deletion: You may disconnect your TikTok account at any time from within the AutoPostPanel interface. Upon disconnection, your TikTok OAuth token and associated profile data are permanently deleted from our database. To request complete deletion of all your data, contact us at legal@autopostpanel.com.
No data sharing: We do not share, sell, lease, or transmit your TikTok API data to any third party. Your TikTok credentials and content remain solely under your control on your self-hosted instance.
5. Third-Party Platforms
When you connect any social media account, you authorise us to interact with that platform's API on your behalf. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own privacy policies and terms of service.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on self-hosted infrastructure under your control. We use industry-standard security practices. Social media tokens are stored encrypted and are never logged in plain text.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
8. Your Rights

9. Cookies
We use only functional cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
